Kareem Abdus-Salaam, a seasoned leader in real estate development, stands as the driving force behind Structures Unlimited LLC, a premier company located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. SULLC has a remarkable track record spanning almost three decades, Kareem has spearheaded transformative mixed-use and other development projects valued at nearly $500MM. His expertise extends to creatively financing privatized student housing, notably on Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCU) campuses.

Kareem Abdus-Salaam's relentless dedication to progress is fueled by his devotion to family, as he is a loving husband and father to five children, one of whom bravely navigates life in a wheelchair.

Jack is also a JD/CPA who has partnered with his brother, Pat, to operate a family-oriented CPA firm since 1988. The firm performs tax planning and compliance services for real estate and other small businesses, tax-exempt entities, trusts, and individuals. Jack also serves as trustee for several trusts and is on the board of three additional tax-exempt organizations.

Ty is a talent Manager & Digital Executive with 15+ years in the entertainment and creator economy industries. Ty's mission is to stay curious and compassionate while striving to meet people where they are at both professionally and personally. He enjoys all things outdoors, music, reading and learning.

Audrey Scott

Board Member 2023-2024, 2024-2025

Audrey Scott is a loving mother, experienced manager, and dedicated community leader. She is the mother of Executive Director Matt Scott, and has decades of managerial experience in the boardroom and in the field. She is passionate about working with a team to achieve common goals. She is currently an independent Avon representative where she recruits and trains newly acquired talent and conducts sales of beauty and wellness products. Additionally, she works closely with the Scrine nonprofit organization to identify qualified individuals for affordable housing. Audrey is a force of good in the world, is always willing to lend a helping hand, and is always looking for ways to make a difference. She is an inspiration to her family, friends and community, and a role model for all.

Eric Harris

Board Member 2024-2025

Eric Harris is DRC’s Associate Executive Director of External Affairs with an extensive career working closely with disability leaders, community members, and elected officials throughout the country to progress change for the disability community.

Harris brings significant local, state and federal policy experience, having worked for Congresswoman Barbara Lee, the Democratic National Committee and the California and Hawaii State NAACP.

Mr. Harris has led discussions on disability pride, inclusion and access on platforms throughout the country. He has spoken at Harvard Law School, the University of California at Berkeley School of Medicine and at the White House. 

Harris started his time at DRC in 2019 working in the legislation and strategic partnerships and community engagement units. He served on the State Independent Living Council as a Governor Newsom appointee and as a board member for the Resources for Independent Living in Sacramento. He grew up in Sacramento, California and was an elite wheelchair basketball player.

Angelique McInerney

Angelique McInerney is a contract marketing and communications professional specializing in all-things adaptive-sports. With ten years in the communications space, she has a breadth of experience from work with companies such as The National Wheelchair Basketball Association, PER4MAX Wheelchairs, Canon USA and The Wall Street Journal. Angelique enjoys working with people who live with purpose and authenticity, and a drive to inspire others to do the same.

She currently lives in Southington, CT with her husband, Dr. Brian McInerney and son Bennett.

Jaynette Lancaster has over 22 years of experience across human resources, organization development, culture change, and real estate. Her business acumen and performance orientation have been key to her success in facilitating business growth, diversity & inclusion, and turnaround scenarios through detailed team assessments, strategy implementation, and coaching. She is client-service-oriented, and known for relationship management skills, depth of self-awareness, and grounding.

She has spent the past two years consulting on labor relations, corporate operations, accounting, and providing general human resources support for various corporations across various industries, while simultaneously selling dream homes in California.

Myranda Shields

Board Member 2024-2025

Myranda is an expert in marketing, having successfully led strategic initiatives across a range of industries. She specializes in creating efficient IT solutions using automations to increase profits while reducing redundancy and gaps in the sales process. Her passion for creating innovative solutions and positive change has been at the core of her career. 

 

As a wheelchair athlete, she has seen the impact Fly Without Limits has on the community first hand and is committed to helping drive the organization's mission to create a world where everyone feels empowered to live out their dreams

Molly is an operations and project management professional with a deep-rooted commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and non-profit organizations, she has a keen understanding of the challenges faced by the community. Her background in psychology, coupled with her creative flair as an artist, allows her to approach problem-solving and design from a unique perspective, which can be seen throughout her branding, design and creative work for Fly Without Limits. Currently, Molly leverages her expertise at a growing mental health startup in San Francisco, where she combines operational efficiency with inclusive design practices. Her passion for creating accessible solutions and her dedication to breaking down barriers align perfectly with Fly Without Limits' mission.

Sherita Scott, Senior Category Manager for the Kroger Company; ambitious, results driven goal achiever. Recognized leader and Grocery industry trailblazer. 

Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication; graduated Magna Cum Laude with Master of Science in Executive Leadership and Organizational Change from Northern Kentucky University.

Experienced with 20 years in retail Merchandising. Qualified experience in over 22 commodities, across center store, beauty, health and natural. Recognized by Cincinnati magazine for abundant knowledge in Woman’s Health. Identified as ONE OF THE TOP 200 Retail Executives in 2018 by executive media corporation.

Know Industry leader in performance energy , grew the Celsius business to the number #3 brand across total Kroger within 2 years driving with over +80% sales growth. Kroger is now the number one growth brand for Celsius, owning over 20% over share in market across all mass retailers.

Sherita is a native of Detroit Michigan; fan of all things Detroit. Enjoys traveling and global exploration. Which has led her to 9 different countries. Loves networking and mentoring others.
